Booking opens on Friday 29 August for the next season of concerts. In an attempt to extend the light and warmth of Summer into Autumn, we have ensured that each concert is packed with beautiful melody and delicious harmony and played, as always, by professional musicians of the highest calibre. The Fiora Quartet is perhaps the youngest ensemble to present one of our full length concerts. They formed only 4 years ago but have already developed a warm, engaging style that really appealed to us. We are sure they will impress you too.

We have hosted several guitarists in recent series but could not resist including one more when we came across Arie Dakesian, a young Lebanese Armenian artist. His playing is wonderful and the challenges he overcame in order to study at the Royal College of Music are truly inspiring (See the blogs on his website).

We are very grateful to The Countess of Munster Musical trust which selects a few very talented young artists each year and sponsors their concerts. This has enabled us to book Kasparas Mikuzis, a Lithuanian pianist, whose dazzling playing is really thrilling. Since we engaged him he has been included in Classic FM’s selection of ‘Rising Stars under 30’ and is already performing in internationally acclaimed venues such as the Wigmore Hall and the Concertgebouw Hall in Amsterdam.

Duo Dorado were a bit hit when they last performed for Frome Concerts group in 2014. They are Baroque specialists and their programme showcases some of Vivaldi’s finest music for violin and harpsichord, interspersed with music by JS Bach, Finger and Matteis.

Booking a subscription to the whole series represents a significant financial saving when compared with the price of individual tickets. Do ensure you buy yours before we release tickets for single concerts on Friday 19 September.

As always the doors will be open 45 minutes before each event so that we can welcome you for complimentary refreshments.
